For the first time in history, a pop group performs in Madrid’s Teatro Real

A packed Teatro Real witnessed the first-ever performance of a pop group in the landmark venue. In a concert promoted by ZERTIOR, “Los Secretos”  — the most important Spanish pop group of all time — altruistically performed their all-time favourites. With the accompaniment of the Youth Orchestra of Valladolid, the concert also served for the group, fresh from his Latin American tour, to officially present its new album, “En este mundo raro” (“In this strange world”).

The occasion was well worth it, since proceeds from the concert were earmarked for the Special Olympics “Great Athletes” project. HRH Princess Elena holds the honorary presidency of this organisation, which aims to integrate children between 6 and 12 years with intellectual disabilities through sport.

The concert was a resounding success. Many companies supported the event, which saw it as a way of contributing to society and also an excellent tool to boost customer loyalty. After the performance, about 300 guests enjoyed an unforgettable cocktail together with the group in one of the main halls of the theatre.
